Meet Mati

I’ve always believed that the most meaningful wedding photographs and films are not simply about remembering how a day looked, but about remembering how it felt.

For me, documenting a wedding is about being present for the things that cannot be planned the way someone looks at you when they think you’re not watching, the laughter between friends, the quiet moments with family, the movement, the atmosphere, and all the small details that make a celebration truly yours.

At Mati Gonzs, this philosophy is at the heart of what we do. It is a creative space built around documentary storytelling, where wedding films and photography come together through an honest, unobtrusive, and artistic approach.

Some celebrations are personally photographed or directed by me, while others are documented alongside a carefully selected team of photographers and filmmakers who share the same sensitivity, attention to detail, and way of seeing. Regardless of who is behind the camera, the intention remains the same: to create work that feels authentic to you and true to the experience of the day.

Every wedding has its own rhythm, energy, and story. Rather than trying to manufacture moments, we give them room to happen naturally. We observe, interpret, and create with what is already there.

From a single photograph to the rhythm of an entire film, every image, sound, gesture, and detail has the potential to become part of the memory.

Because, ultimately, I don’t think wedding photography and films should simply show you what happened.

They should take you back to how it felt.
